Pathiniyaalpuram is a small village is located within saliperi village near Tiruvarur Nannilam route in Tamil Nadu. One has to travel in Tiruvarur Nannilam route and reach Saliperi. Villagers can be approached in order to reach this temple.

Agasthya vijayam publication book below reveals that Akilandeswari devi here has a natural hole in her nose (for nosering) that is the mooladhara bilam (hole) giving the prana jeeva shakthi to all living creatures-humans, animals, plants and all immovable objects in the ecosystem.

Please note that now the archaka is not able to directly place the nosering in the hole as it is partially closed now. So any nosering donated here is placed n devi's nose along with a block of sandal paste or chandanam. (To avoid any damage to vigraham as it is an ancient one)
